Batman Begins

The first of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy was the worst of the film series but still a great movie. With a great cast, plus fine directing, music, and a new script, the film didn't relate to the past Batman movies or the other characters in the DC Universe, unlike MARVEL. The film was darker and more realistic than the past 4 Batman films. It actually made us feel emotions, unlike the Joel Schumacher Batman films. It shows the story of how Bruce Wayne came from everything and went to nothing. It shows for once how and why he puts the mask on. Haven't you always wondered why he became Batman in the first place, or how he found the Batcave, or where he go all of his gadgets? I know I have, and this movie gives you answers to all of these questions. The movie follows his background, his personal life, as well as his fight against justice. The writing was elegantly thought out. The music by two famous composers(Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard) was perfect for the film, as well as the very good cast. The film stars Christian Bale as our masked protagonist, Michael Caine as his loyal butler, and Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy, Katie Holmes, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman. Great film. 7/10.
